Pull just the pages you need, like the product pages of a catalog or the signed page of a contract, into a new PDF. Type the same pages for a whole batch, or click them on thumbnails file by file. The original stays untouched.

From the recording
1 file went in and Hangar wrote 1 file. It is the same run as in the recording, with the real names and sizes. Your originals are never changed.

How it works
Enter pages and ranges such as 1, 3, 5-8. They are taken from every PDF in the queue, and pages a file does not have are skipped.
Open the page picker to click the pages of one file, or Shift-click a run of them. A file you pick by hand ignores the typed pages.
One PDF keeps the selection together. Separate files saves catalog-p3.pdf and so on. Pages always come out in their original order.
New to Hangar? How to run a tool, step by step
Choose what you get
Typed pages suit a batch where every file needs the same pages, and the picker handles the exceptions. Either way, you get one PDF or one per page.
The chosen pages in one new file, in document order.
Best for excerpts, product pages and short handouts.
Each chosen page saved as its own PDF.
Best for pulling single forms or certificates out of a pack.
Click the pages you want on each file’s thumbnails.
Best when every PDF needs different pages.

The alternative
Your Mac or PC can already save a page range as a new PDF from the print dialog, and for one file that works well. It gets slow when the job repeats.
Who uses it
Send the four product pages, not the whole catalog.
Keep just the signature page of each contract for the file.
Save the chapters or figures you need from a long paper, without the rest.
One app, one payment
The same app merges, splits, signs, redacts and reads scanned PDFs, and does the same kind of work for images, video and audio. One payment covers every tool.
A typical routine
Take the pages you need from several PDFs. Then merge them into one pack and compress it to send.
Every tool is free for 3 days, with no account and no card. After that, Hangar is a one-time payment from $45, with updates for the version you buy. There is no subscription.
Not in Extract pages: they always keep their original order. To reorder, rotate or duplicate pages, run Organize pages on the result.
Bookmarks are not carried into the new file, and fillable fields may stop being fillable, although what was typed stays visible.
Yes. Under Output, choose Separate files and each selected page is saved as its own PDF. One PDF keeps them together in one file.
No. However you list the pages, the result comes out in document order, with any duplicates removed.
It is skipped quietly, so a slightly-too-long range still saves the pages that do exist. A file only fails if none of the pages you chose are in it.
No. Your files are processed on your computer and never sent anywhere. Hangar sends anonymous usage counts to improve the app, never file names or contents, and you can turn that off in Settings.
Yes. A license works on any mix of Mac and Windows computers. Solo covers 1 computer, Crew 3 and Fleet 10.
Then pay once, from $45, for every tool and the updates for your version. No subscription. 30-day refund.See plans
