Fit photos to 4:5 or 9:16, square up product shots, or trim a messy edge. Set one crop for the whole batch, then fix any photo that needs its own framing in the Crop studio. Your photos stay on your computer.

From the recording
4 files went in and Hangar wrote 4 files. It is the same run as in the recording, with the real names and sizes. Your originals are never changed.

How it works
JPG, PNG, WebP and BMP. Phone photos are turned upright first, so you crop what you see.
Choose Free, 1:1, 4:5, 9:16, 16:9 or 4:3 and drag the box. Type exact values in percent or pixels if you need them.
In the Crop studio, give any photo its own crop. Each copy keeps its name and format.
New to Hangar? How to run a tool, step by step
Choose the shape
Pick a ratio and the box jumps to the largest centered area of that shape. Drag it to frame the subject, and step through the batch in the studio before you run.
A clean square.

The alternative
For one photo, the editor already on your phone or computer is quick and free. For twenty photos at the same ratio, it is twenty separate edits.
Who uses it
Crop a whole shoot to 1:1 for a store grid, then nudge the few shots that sit off center.
Turn landscape event photos into 4:5 posts or 9:16 stories without opening each one.
Hangar for marketers and content teamsCut a batch of screenshots down to the part a help article needs, at exact pixel values.
One app, one payment
The same app converts, compresses, resizes and cleans up photos, and does the same kind of work for PDFs, video and audio. One payment covers every tool.
A typical routine
Crop a batch to 4:5, then resize it to exactly 1080 × 1350 and compress it for a fast upload.
Every tool is free for 3 days, with no account and no card. After that, Hangar is a one-time payment from $45, with updates for the version you buy. There is no subscription.
Yes. Open Precise values, switch the unit to px and type the left, top, width and height. Pixel values belong to one image, so set them per image when sizes differ.
Yes. The camera orientation is applied first, so you crop the photo as you see it, not a sideways version of it.
No. The image keeps its format. JPEG and WebP files are saved again at high quality.
Yes. One crop applies to the whole batch as a share of each image, and clamps safely inside it. For images of different shapes, or a different framing per photo, crop each one in the Crop studio.
Not directly yet. Convert them to JPEG or PNG first with the Convert Images tool, then crop as usual.
No. Your files are processed on your computer and never sent anywhere. Hangar sends anonymous usage counts to improve the app, never file names or contents, and you can turn that off in Settings.
