How it works

How to add a page to multiple PDFs on Mac or Windows

  1. Add the PDFs that need it

In Hangar, open Merge PDF and choose Attach a file to each. Drop every quote, report or certificate that should get the same pages.

  2. Import your cover or terms once

Click Import PDF and pick it. It stays in the list for next time, in every workspace. Select several to add them in the order you click.

  3. Choose front or back and run

After each file is the default. Each new copy keeps its name, with -merged added.

New to Hangar? How to run a tool, step by step

Choose where it goes

A cover in front or terms behind, on every file.

Position decides where the attached pages land, for the whole batch. Select more than one attachment and they are added in the order you select them.

  • After each file

    Start here

Your pages added behind every document.

Best for terms and conditions, disclaimers and back pages.

  • Before each file

Your pages added in front of every document.

Best for cover sheets and instructions.

  • Several attachments

More than one PDF added, in the order you pick them.

Best for terms plus a privacy notice, or a cover plus a price sheet.

The alternative

Why not merge them one by one?

Any merge tool can add a terms page to one quote. Doing it for forty quotes is where the afternoon goes.

Questions

Before you download

More answers in the help center.

Is it really free?

Every tool is free for 3 days, with no account and no card. After that, Hangar is a one-time payment from $45, with updates for the version you buy. There is no subscription.

Do I have to import my terms page every time?

No. Imported PDFs stay in the list for next time, in every workspace. Click the cross next to one to remove it from Hangar.

Are bookmarks added in this mode?

No. Bookmark per source only applies when you combine files into one. Each attached copy is saved as its own PDF.

Does it apply to every file?

Yes. The pages you choose are added to each PDF in the batch in a single pass.

Front or back?

Either. Choose whether the attachment goes before or after each document.

Can I attach more than one page?

Yes. Import one or several PDFs and select the ones you want. They are added in the order you select them.

Does anything get uploaded?

No. Your files are processed on your computer and never sent anywhere. Hangar sends anonymous usage counts to improve the app, never file names or contents, and you can turn that off in Settings.

Does one license cover Mac and Windows?

Yes. A license works on any mix of Mac and Windows computers. Solo covers 1 computer, Crew 3 and Fleet 10.
