Hangar for agencies and studiosMake the browser tab and home-screen icons for a new product the day the logo is final.
One app, one payment
The same app converts, compresses, resizes and cleans up photos, and does the same kind of work for PDFs, video and audio. One payment covers every tool.
A typical routine
Clear the white box around a logo, crop it tight and square, then make every favicon and app icon from it.
The alternative
Favicon websites are free and make much the same set of files. They ask for your logo first, and that is all they do.
Every tool is free for 3 days, with no account and no card. After that, Hangar is a one-time payment from $45, with updates for the version you buy. There is no subscription.
Web is enough for most websites. Extended adds maskable icons for Android and a pinned-tab image. All adds Windows tile images too.
No. site.webmanifest lists the icons only. Add your app name and colors in a text editor if your site is installable.
At least 256 pixels on the long edge for a raster source, so nothing is upscaled. An SVG has no minimum since it scales cleanly to any size.
No. Your files are processed on your computer and never sent anywhere. Hangar sends anonymous usage counts to improve the app, never file names or contents, and you can turn that off in Settings.
Yes. A license works on any mix of Mac and Windows computers. Solo covers 1 computer, Crew 3 and Fleet 10.
